Hi guys.
I am looking at running a Weekend trip up Mount Cole from the 21st to the 23rd of February.
Mt Cole is located approximately 45 minutes from Ballarat in the states west.

The Plan:
Arrive Friday night or early Saturday morning at Chinamans Campground (basic amenities include drop toilets, fire place and a hut to shelter out of the rain/sun). Ability for 2nd Access for tow vehicles I

Day trip through mount Cole on the Saturday. Difficulty can range depending on your vehicle with multiple options of tracks routes and detours. Suitable for a stock Jb74 through to a lifted and locked Sierra.
Saturday night camp again at Chinamans

Sunday, head home with the option of further explanation through the mountain or just heading onto the freeway and home.

Very flexible weekend with the ability for people to come and stay for as much or as little as they like.

Let me know if you are interested and if there is any particular tracks or difficulty you would like to play on.

Hope to see anyone and everyone there.

Note: this trip will be canceled if the fire danger is forecast as

Sounds great. Still plenty of tracks that didn’t get cleaned up or that have washed back out to different degrees

Hi All. Due to predicted elevated fire danger on Saturday I have made the difficult decision to postpone the trip. It will likely be rescheduled to later in March. Sorry all for the late change of plans.
