Tallarook State Forest - Easy Trip Sat 18 Nov 23
Posted: Thu 19 Oct, 2023 1:27 pm
Hi all,
As discussed at our last meeting
I am conducting an easy trip into Tallarook State Forest.
I will be in my 96 Vitara that only has AT tyres and a bullbar - so this is a good for any vehicle or for inexperience off road drivers.
You wont need AT tyres for this trip.
Departing from Broadford Railway Station car park at 0930 Sharp.. . Main street Broadford - opposite Commercial Hotel - You cant miss it!
There is fuel and a good pie/ coffee shop in town also on Main Street .
I have planned do some mud (if recent rain), minor hilly and rocky tracks - stopping at lunchtime at Freeman's Campsite which has toilets.
Expect to be able to get to Mt Hickey and Trawool reservoir along the way .
The day will finish around 4.30 pm .
If interested please let me know your vehicle details, rego and names of people in your car.
Cheers Rod
