Probably Cooper's creek is the better campground as they have done significant improvement since we stopped there last as a group , likely to be busy so earlier on Friday will be best. Great spot for a bbq and a swim on the Friday afternoon. In addition to inflatable floatation recommend that everybody has enclosed footwear for crossing shallow points.

A tentative yes for us 4. Likely wanting to camp. Car tire tubes, blow up mattress, kyak. Will we all need paddles?

Hey Steve , if you want to canoe a paddle is always recommended..... If you want to use inner tubes I think feet should be sufficient if padded with crocs
