WE HAVE A PROBLEM

According to the forecast its going to be 37 on Saturday, 38 on Sunday and 35 Monday - this raises serious safety and club responsibility issues.

1/ FIre Risk

2/ Overheating People

3/ Overheating Vehicles

Under the circumstances have no option to call it off - sorry.

Will re schedule at the next club meeting.

Bwaaaaaaah! But I agree. Once it's over 30 it can be a bit unpleasant out in the bush, especially in a zook with no A/C. :(
Hope I can make it on next scheduling.
Fair call Ross!

Forecast from WeatherZone

Monday 38c,

Buangor Forecast -

Saturday 35c,
Sunday 36c,
Monday 35c,

I appreciate your enthusiasm Andrew - I'm not that pleased about it myself as its been forever since we had a club trip
but as "trip leader" I have to make a call and IMO its just too risky.

Many of our vehicles aren't air conditioned so its hard on people and low speed work on 35+ degree days is very hard on engines. I am also concerned about the obvious fire danger.

I'm sorry - but from my perspective its postponed till another day.

Thanks..

Good decision... I'll take a rain cheque.

Can't say I like eating dust to much.
