Paul McDonald is looking at running a Border Track trip on Queen's Birthday Weekend. This should enable the elusive section to be driven as it should be open at this time of year. More details to come.

Hopefuly I'll be on this event.
Make up for missing a few trips this year.
Do we think it will be ok for the camper?
I drove the fenceline track from Milparinka to Camerons Corner with Moke Club long ago, and it was fun.
But there was also a new road running next to it.

Spoke with Paul today and this trip is on with a few already confirmed. Fist stop will be at Pinaroo on Friday night like the last trip and then driving the Murray-Sunset section of Border Track Saturday. The Ngaarkat section is on for Sunday 8-) and Monday will either be the Little Desert section of the track or a quick drive through Little Desert before heading home. There is still space for those interested.

If I have to be the first man on crutches to cover Border Track - then that's exactly what's going to happen. :D

I've survived a day trip without plaster and crutches so my threat has worked. Doctor thought I was joking at first, till I mentioned using a Dremel to cut the cast off

So are we convoying up ? From where and when ? Who's going ?

Paul mentioned the long range forecast said it might be damp ........ in the wet last time it was great fun, no dust and some memorable speed bowls

Hmm. I see what you mean  It wasn't quite meant to come over like that. (I can't stop laughing).
Don't worry Ross, you're safe (very). :D
