park lights.
can someone switch their headlights the first click in a sierra to see if the headlights vome on at all. like dimly or is it just the clearance lights on the front bumper?
im going over the negative switching diagram over and over and I can only see possible earthed switch positions for low and high beam and for the clearance lights but i do kinda have a feeling the headlights light dimly with the first position when you turn the lights on

No. Only parking lights come on.

Most negative switched headlight cars have positive switched parking lights, my Pajero does, but can't remember if Sierra did.

yes the parkers and ilumination is positive
