It has all the upcoming club trips and meetings, along with a link to each corresponding forum topic and a general location tag.
I'm happy to keep this updated myself or pass it on if it's above my rank.
Could be useful to also add:
-Group Leader contact info
-Start and finish times
-Coordinates of meeting point
-Trip rating
-Attendee list
Depending on privacy concerns etc.

It doesn't look like phpBB has any calendaring capabilities. Not sure if it's capable of embedding an iframe but here's the code in case:
