G\V diesel

On the ring road just before I followed a new grand vitara on the guard it had a ddis. A Diesel what the. I only knew of a jimny diesel. Does anyone know anything about this.

Thats interesting... I did not think they were able to bring in the diesel version.
I know the diesel versions are in the US but not here..
Was this a 06 model or one of the older models ?

Yes, it's a Renault 1.9 TD. They've had them in NZ and I had heard they were coming here this year. Only available in manual and in NZ they get them as a SWB with low range as well as the LWB.

This was a 5 door. A U rego too. It may have been a workers car from head office suzuki. On thursday I may go pass cherry lane and have a look in the car park. Will keep you all posted. Dose anyone have any contacts there. I would have thought it would be auto as they out sell manaul these days.

This has been covered in the paper. Yes, we are getting a GV diesel.

Found nothing at suzuki H\O yesterday. After that I did go pass a dealership, surprize surprize they knew nothing. Why does suzuki do that. It was the same with the swift sports. The diesel I saw had had a U rego to. I've seen a W rego on the road so it would be min of a month old.
