Hey all, Im in the process of finishing up the wiring on my 96' sj80 with a g16 conversion.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to get the temp sensor to work with the cluster properly?
Cheers

Re: Temp gauge wiring g16b conversion
Are you able to tell us which G16B you are using?
The vitara G16b has provision for 2x temp sensors, theres one that feeds the ecu and one that feeds the gauge, you can put the sierra sensor in the vitara manifold so that it reads correctly.
Baleno is a bit more complicated, the ebst way would be to drill/tap the sierra sensor into the baleno thermostat housing. Or use a resistor in parallel to make is the correct resistance for the gauge to read properly with the baleno sender.
