Big River State Forest. April 29.

An easy trip into the Big River Forest.
Meeting point at Big River Camp. 9.00 am Sunday April 29.
The tracks are undulating, sometimes steep with long ascents and descents. Sometimes rocky ,not many deep ruts. Ground clearance won't be a problem for most standard cars. The scenery is spectacular.
I would recommend sierras carry extra fuel, because of the remoteness of the area.
Follow the Woods Point Rd from either Maryesville or Warburton, then onto Big River Rd. Big River Camp is a few miles along Big River Rd and is sign posted.
There are lots of good camping spots along the Big River for anyone who wants to camp Saturday night. It is a popular fishing place.
