A day trip is planned for Saturday 8th September to find some snow to play in. Bring the kids, toboggans and carrots for snowmen. Meet at Pakenham McDonalds, Princes Highway @ 7.30am with a full tank of gas and for those with small tanks, some extra in a jerry. For more details contact Bill 0412 399 410

Well it's been looking like there may not be enough snow around to run this trip but apparently snow showers are forecast before the trip so if there is enough this trip will be going ahead. If the snow doesn't eventuate there will be an alternative trip run to Walhalla. There will be an opportunity to do a couple of tracks as well as go on the Walhalla Goldfields Railway and explore the township. Either way it will be a nice social easy day out. Please post up your interest.

So is this trip on or not... My car should be ready. It is in the mechanics at the moment with oil pressure problems. :x
Probably a clagged oil pump.

Should be up and going by the weekend.

Trip is definitely on, looking at leaving Pakenham Maccas around 8, heading to Walhalla, do a few of the easier tracks in the area, set up a BBQ or go to the pub, and then ride the train.
Should be a fairly easy day, hopefully I get my bloody Jeep by then!

Spoke with Bill earlier and the trip is on and it will be to Walhalla as the snow has pretty much disappeared. He will have a BBQ going so bring something to put on it if you wish. Should be a good day out, I'm looking forward to it :D

Do we just turn up at Pakenham or is there a trip form somewhere to fill out?

Just turn up Graeme and fill out the form on the day. Bill remember to bring a form, we don't care about the Jeep though

I will have to take a rain cheque on this trip.
My car will not be fixed by the weekend (timing chain issues etc)

It should be ready for the "We hate Footy trip" though.
