In conjunction with 5 other clubs, we will be helping out the people of Licola in any way possible on this weekend. Anybody who can spare some time would be greatly appreciated.
We have been given the difficult task of clearing wood on a farm area and setting it alight!
If anybody is interested please call me on 0412 399 410. I will be attending on the Saturday only.
Thankyou very much to the Mayor, he has secured funding of up to $700 to go towards the cleanup from the City of Kingston!
We will be sending footage and pics to 4wdtv and monthly magazines to promote the effort.
Regards,
Bill

Good to hear the City of Kingston has donated some fund to a very good cause.
Both Karin & myself will be meeting Bill at Pakenham Makas at 07:30 Saturday for a days fun getting dirty at Licola.
This will be good public exposure for the club as we are seen cleaning up the bush.
The more people from the Suzi club help out the better.

It was a great day.
Sunny (but cold). It only started to rain late in the afternoon.

It was a great day, the place is absolutely devastated. The owner of the property has welcomed the club to camp on his property anytime.
However, it is unlikely the tracks will be accessible for another 12 months!

Bill, the Association is doing an article on this for the next issue of Trackwatch so I have forwarded your contact details to them. They are looking for information and photos.

I have taken a number of photos in RAW format (10Mpixel). So the association can blow them up to A1 if they want to.
Photos include groups shots etc.
