Grand Vitara Drum Brakes

Third time lucky.

Over the past 2 months or so, the rear passenger side drum brake has been sticking.
The fist thing it did was pop the slave cylinder... Not a problem, had that replaced and the shoes replaced.
This worked fine for 2 weeks and then it started to stick again. :o

Took it back to the same mechanic who replaced the shoes (for free) saying that they were bent.

Last weekend the same drum brake started to stick again.
It is now like driving with the hand brake on. It is only the rear passenger side causing the issue.
Unfortunately, I do not have the expertise to do this myself. So I will take it back to a different mechanic this time.

I just wonder why it is so hard to fix a drum brake.

Thats a good suggestion... I know the self adjuster has been replaced.
When I take it to the new mechanic, I will ask them....

At the moment the left hand rear drum brake works correctly.
