"carbeurator solenoid"

carbeuretor solenoid
anyone know what solenoid this is exactly? it's on the wiring diagram also but doesn't have any further description so I can't see it in my engine bay :S seems pretty vague description

Possibly fuel cut solenoid, on the right side of the carby from memory.

Some wiring pics for Jon, save cluttering the build thread.

From the loom, the wire on the left (grey with a black stripe) becomes solid green on the other side of the plug and goes into a solenoid that sits on the front of the carb (idle solenoid?). The black with white stripe becomes solid black and the green with yellow stripe becomes white and both go into a switch(?) marked X on the rear passenger side corner of the carb, see second pic.

Looking from the front of the engine towards the firewall

From the loom, two wires, one brown with a yellow stripe, the other brown with a white stripe, go into a switch on the front of the intake manifold.
