I need to buy a rebuild kit for a 1 lt. transfer case.

Question 1:are the 1lt and 1.3 lt rebuild kits the same or do they differ in some way?

Snake racing will do the kit for $290.00 delivered to vic.

Question 2: Is this a good price ?

The transfer I have is a shift light one.

Its a good price if its a full rebuild kit. If its just the one that often comes with rockhoppers then it might not be a full rebuild.

It is apparently a full rebuild kit incl the idler shaft and all bearings/seals etc....

I have heard some kits do not include the idler shaft and bearing which,If I understand correctly can be the expensive part-$70-$90 ? or so.

The case is one of Chris' old one's out of frog many moons ago.....late 1982 or 84 I think.
