Oils ain't oils

Hi guys,

Was time to service the transmission in the Maverick and wanted to stick with the full synthetic which I currently run.
Got quoted by all the major retailers around $80 for 4L which is too expensive for my taste considering my auto will take 11 Liters (torque converter flush).
My brother found a local place by the name of Olean Oils (56 Wadhurst Drv, Boronia West VIC) who distribute to most business but are also retail. This included Wholesale Automatics who did my last flush.

For 20 Liters of SYN MULTI -TRANS it cost me $155inc GST. Talk about a price difference! I have enough for both my transmission and transfer case.

As the number of cars with automatics rise in the the club I thought it would be good knowledge to share.

BTW, they have an array of oils to suit different cars - this includes engine, gearbox (AT/MT), hydraulic etc etc.

Anthony
