G'day...

One of my work colleagues inquired about MTZ's .

What are these like on the road , in the wet etc.

He originally had Bridgestone MTR's on his GQ... Now he has a GU Patrol. He just wants a good all round mud tyre which is good on the road as well as good off road.

Open for suggestions.

p.s I have MTR's as my daily tyres and i think these are great.

Maybe Bridgestone M/T?

Can't comment on MTZ's, I've only driven on BFG muds, Cooper STTs (newer pattern) and Goodyear MTR's, the MTR's were my preffered all round tyre for a few reasons.
In no particular order
1. Cheaper than the others (usually Beaurepaires is the cheapest for MTR's)
2. Seemed quiter (hard to tell though as they were on various vehicles)
3. Seemed a bit better in the wet.

I don't think you can really compare but my 32x11.5 MTR's on the Patrol were ALOT better in the wet than the 235/75 MTR's on the Sierra.
