Hi Team,

Let's get the discussion for Wandin 2014 started here.

The show was discussed at the meeting this week with the current plan of attack as follows:

Stand:
To be booked in the coming days by Jon-NZ.

Cars:
Louis - Brand New Grand Vitara SWB
Mike - shiny red jimny
Jonno L - LWB Sierra Chassis (work in progress)
Luke - Hard Top Sierra
Mitch - LJ (work in progress)

Note: Mitch has agreed that the LJ is available, but someone else needs to pick it up on a trailer and drop it back off again. i.e. the LJ is unfinished.

To Do's:
Let's confirm that people are interested in attending the show and staff the stand for the day.
Who is camping? / who is coming?
Work out where the club photo boards, Signs and Shade stands are.
Determine if there is an easier option than Mitch's LJ if required.
Sort out some big tyres to put on Jonno's chassis to make it look tough.

If we have all of this stuff worked out in the coming weeks, we'll be good to go.

I will be there to man the stand for the day, not sure if I'll camp overnight yet

Will attend.
Will camp and help set up trailering in so have room for other things like bbq and hand tools.

i also have a set of Krawler here to make Jonno's car "tough"

Jonno has a set of Krawlers himself, he just needs to pick them up

I can be there on both days but won't camp. Can I drive my car home on the Saturday night otherwise I can get someone to pick me up and drop me back on the Sunday. I have it set up in "outback touring configuration" at the moment. See pic below. Might be the most appealing set up (rather than the pod on the roof which looks pretty ordinary).

Hi Fellas.
I will be on a plane to China on Feb 15, so I won't be able to help this year. But the A frame trestles that we mounted the photo boards on are available if needed.
Mike, last year I drove my car home on the Saturday night and came back early in the morning no problem.

Also have to find an insurance certificate to present to the wandin people which I am waitin to hear back from 4wdvic about but the sites we have are 154-155

OK Guys this is coming up fast
we have anothe club meeting before then but let's get this on the go now

we need confirmations of who will wanting to be camping on the stand the night before the show
where the gazebo is coming from
who has the club photo boards and photos and who is going to be transport for these things out to the stand.

can we sound of on who is confirmed that they are still able to make it if their car is on the club stand.

what wild and whacky thing are we going to be doing with the vit shell this time around?
cut it in half and put it at either end of the stand sharp side down? do we have a trailer for this to get there and back?

who is going to bring all the black t shirts so on a stupidly hot day people can run around and get very hot and uncomfortable

remember there is good pizza in wandin too
