Hi fellas.
There is a single point fuel injection kit for sale on ebay. Would that fit on my 1.3 ? I know nothing of these things, can anyone help?
Regards Wayne.

It would probably work on your 1.3 but I'm going to suggest against it. They can be made to work, but as they came off a Japanese market vitara, or a swift, there seems to be a fair amount amount of messing around from what I've read. You need to be pretty patient, tenacious, and resourceful.

In any case, you'll still need to do a bunch of wiring, weld an 02 sensor into your exhaust manifold, and set up an EFI fuel system, so there's substantial cost and hassle above just fitting the throttle body.

A single point system will improve starting and performance on angles, but it will do little to add performance.

I'd keep a look out for a G13b jimny motor, g16b vitara, or g16b baleno if you are looking for a bit more work. For the added work you'll get much better performance on and off road along with the improved starting and angle performance.

Just my 2c. I haven't done a single point setup, but I've done quite a few multipoint cars.

The easiest/best possible setup for you might be to find a whole wrecked manual g13 jimny. Power goes from 45 to 59kw, and the power steering and motor bolts in. The motor will bolt to your gearbox, and the jimny manifolds make the engine bay look very neat and tidy.

Manual g13b jimnys should be getting very cheap damaged at auction. The auto ones are desirable due to transmission failure, the manuals less so.
