Suzuki 4WD Club of Victoria

Hey guys,
Can anyone tell me where the VIN is stamped on an early (82) Sierra?
According to my book it should be on the right rail and according to Vic Roads it sould be on the firewall under the right front guard but can't find it either place...?

on the chassis in the right hand wheel arch. also on the compliance plate in the engine bay.

FRONT wheelarch, between the bumpstop bracket and the steering box mounts.

Coil sierras also have the vin repeated on the rear of the chassis, for what it's worth.
