Hi Guys....My Son and I are wanting to buy a vitara LWB around the 91 to 95 model and looking for some advice on raising it up. I was hoping to put a 3" suspension lift & 2" body lift on it if legal but thinking that it would need to have engineers look over it which is fine. Advice on what brands are good and where to buy them from would be great also what works and doesn't work. Im fairly capable of doing the work myself as I have done a few 4wds of my own before but nothing to do with Suzuki's....Cheers Rick

3" is pushing the limit for reliability of the front end.
I reckon 2" be wiser.
Dank, a member on here sells Dobinsons, that is pretty good.
I get a lot of my after market stuff from Bits4Vits in the UK,
and Lowrange in USA.
Search around our site and Auszookers for what others have done is helpful, too.
I don't comment on legalities, too many grey areas.

Mine has 2" body and 2"spring lift,
31's on 7" rims, with a -13 offset, fit with minor hammering of guards.
Original owner ran 32's on 16" rims.
Of course you can also cut away at guards if you like,
but on a LWB there is very little room at front of back wheel arch.

In stock form, they go off road very well.
In my opinion better than similar type 4wd's.
There are better choices for serious off road,
but as an all round off road car, that is comfortable on road, they excel.
Modified they can off course go even better
