Suzuki 4WD Club of Victoria

I am seeking advice from anyone who has, or knows about, the ARB winch bar for a Vitara (SWB). I am trying to select an appropriate winch, but have been unable to determine which ones will fit. There is a Runfa 8000lb that seems like a fair option but I do not know if it fits? ARB state the bar will fit the Warn 6000lb winch, but I cannot find any dimensions for that winch so I cannot compare others for fit, and I am not interested in paying such a high price for the warn option.

Anybody have some options or information?

you should ask Joeblow on Auszookers, he knows about vitara bars because he makes them. and he works for ARB too

As it took some effort to find this data I thought others may find the information useful. The dimensions of a winch that does fit in the Vitara ARB bulbar are 534mm L x 160mm D x 193mm H. The mounting bolt pattern is 254mm x 144mm. Any winch that is similar or smaller may therefore fit. However, I don’t yet know how to ensure it can be successfully mounted in a suitable orientation.
