As far as I can tell there does not seem to be any tracks closed between stockmans rewards and mcadams gap. Some planned tracks: Fire line 2, Foley Cr F/L Frenchman Spur Tk, Frenchman Camp tr and short cut 1 or 2 depending on Group. If someone can tell me more on the grade of these tracks for a EASY trip it would be appreciated. Feel free to study up on your own maps for input on the day.
Thanks

One of the guys from my work will be attending this trip.
He has a 2" lifted GQ SWB Patrol with 35" Simex's..

I have said it will be an easy trip but he still wants to come... Maybe a prospective new member.

Anyway, he made a point about black ice on the road.

So be extremely careful driving up the Black Spur and the Marysville Road.

See you there in one peice.

Andrew Wale ;)

Daryl,
We did one of the Short Cut tracks on Paul's trip last year. That was the one that was "interesting". You'll need to check with Paul which one it was as I can't remember if it was 1 or 2. As you recall if it is wet I don't think it fits into the easy category, although..........

Should something be posted and targeted at newbies in the general section for this trip as it should be easy.

As you are now promoting it as a newbies type trip, may I suggest that you keep it to easy side of things.

It may end up near medium after discussions with the group on Saturday. I thought that I would let the privileged members in on this a little early that’s all. Of course if newbie’s turn up it will stay easy. ;)

I hope I'm using these smilies in the right context.

I will let Lloyd know Mitch
