Suzuki 4WD Club of Victoria

Anyone got any advice or options for the repair or upgrade of a carbie on a 1989 Vitara. The one I have is in urgent need of some attention, but before I dedicate time and funds to its rebuild, I would seek any advice on a better option for a good long term carbie solution... at the best value for money.
