You're a new man these days chris. Auto, aircon and powersteer are serving you well.
Don't forget to keep track of your mileage for mike

This where all the photos people took are going.
I didn't take much.
Was a heap of fun, and great learning experience,
but they are bit of a wild bunch for a boring old sod like me

Crawler gears weren't a problem at all.
Though unneeded for sand, it did enable more control.
Xoe is no sandbuggy, but will handle the Simpson dunes,
if I lucky enough to go.

Great to see you enjoyed a bit of sand Chris.
I had a bit of a play over there between the Coorong and Beachport myself a few years ago. Some of the big long hauls can suck up the power. [air down some more].
If you can handle those, the Simpson won't be too much trouble, just remember there is about 1200 dunes and you will be towing a trailer.
That said when I did it last it was in a stock sierra towing a small trailer and only failed to cross 3 dunes first attempt.
I am hoping to be able to attend the Nov. meeting to talk to people interested in having a go at Simpson April-May 2013.
