2-Jun-2012 - Toolangi - Easy/Medium update

Post by jonfromhamilton »

Edit: Jon has confirmed Saturday 2-Jun-2012 as the date for this trip on Page 2.
Meeting: marginal road turnoff of the Melba highway, 9.30am. This is 25 minutes from yarra glen.
my number is 0449 256 860

Hey Guys

I am wanting to do a bit of a day trip/play day anywhere east of Melb between Bunyip and Kinglake.

I'm putting on some new wheels before then that will need to be tested out and also got my step dad coming over from NZL for the weekend and want to take him out with some other zooks.

Probably looking at the easy side of Medium tracks but I don't really have any clue as to where to go so that is where I am open to suggestions.

There may or may not be cake.

alright, saturday or sunday guys ?
majority will have it.
then we will most likely look at Toolangi or something, and then put the word out for people who know the area well to fire off some track names for us to hunt down.
I'll have a map with me, I'm sure a few of you do as well.

Go Saturday then those that want to go on both this trip and the harder trip on Sunday might come along, like me :)

Good point there.
anyone else ?

my car is off the road as of today :D but I'm sure it will all turn out just fine and that I will help Mathew out with his car before the trip to pay him back for his 2 days of solid effort he has given me these past 2 days.
And a big shout out to Steve125 for his outstanding effort too.

Saturday will be fine with me. I can do Sunday as well if that is what the majority want.
