Hi guys,I bought a mazda bravo turbo diesel 2001 and I'm after a driving lights kit . I have to decide between this two : narva maxim 150 driving lamp kit 100w ,or HID xenon driving lights ,35W version, 6000K 12V ,the brand is SUPERHID EUROBEAM. I would like to have an opinion about this 2 different sets, please. Thanks, Crispin

I'm not entirely sure about light bars and their spread. They put a lot of light about the place for sure, but I'm not convinced that it's always where you want it - a lot of it seems to go up and down. I guess it depends on the application you want it for.

Crispin, sorry I missed this thread,

HID driving lights can be very effective and efficient, but I wouldn't recommend 6000K - That's very "blue" and can make the transition to low beam halogen (which is very "yellow" by comparison) quite marked. I believe that 5000K is more "natural" looking. It doesn't look as "bright" but it's not as harsh either.

I think that most OEM HID globes are in the 4300K to 5000K range.

Steve.

I had 4300k HID in a set of 4 of the rectangle narva's, they put out a lot of light wasn't blue or yellow more just a clear light and worked very well in the bush but compared to a lightbar and the compactness of them they win hands down, but like you said Steve it all depends on what the user needs them for,

6000k would not be very good more of a blue light, most 4wder's recommend 4300k
