4wd Muster - 20-22 April - Lardner Park

We had the Gentlemen from the organising committee of http://www.4wdmuster.org.au/ visit the club last night and do the spiel on this event.
It's a family weekend event, no real 4wding as such but if you want to be part of a world record attempt at the most 4wds in a line then this is the place to be that weekend.
The event sponsors the Variety Club which supports a number of organisations and its $$$ going to a good cause. I have worked with the kids that Variety sponsors in the past and the help they receive from variety is fantastic, it really makes a difference to these kids' lives.
I guess it was talked about as not really being an event that would suit alot of the membership at the club so the idea was thrown around that at the March Club meeting we pass around the hat for a donation, or you can direct deposit into the club account any amount you wish to donate, and the club will then match that donation dollar for dollar, as our way of contributing.
the committee thinks this is a great idea, what do others think? We are not obligated to do this, but it would be good to show support at the club level for these sorts of things.
