inline Sensor adapter for my auto tranny fluid temp.

Anyone got an easy solution for this? I should have had the forethought to get a bung welded into the sump for the M12x1.5 thread on the Bosch 026 temp sensor i need to use but does anyone know a local solution? I have found this : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SENSOR-SENDE ... 4aacd4af15 which is cheap but would rather sort it out with common parts locally if I can.
Needs to be installed on the outlet line ideally as close to the sump as possible, the metal lines are 5/16ths diameter.
