Ok Team,
who is in for a Night Run? Just talking with Mud Muncher and I haven't ever been on a club night trip, only private trips. it certainly does require a different mindset driving through the bush as night and things seem a lot harder to drive, vision isn't as good, Navigation has to be spot on....
Probably thinking about a medium rated trip in an easy to get to area. Warburton avoiding the harder tracks might be a bit of FUN as would Mt Worth, Powelltown, Walhalla area and Neerim.
Who's keen?

I'm a big fan of night drives.
Get to sleep in, and eat a good meal before going.

If it stays medium I'm in.
Still not ready for hard yet.

always enjoy a night drive...
another option is the twilight drive - i.e. you can hit the first tracks at 4pmish and go from there.
it is inevitable though that half the attendees will be considering the trip home by midnight, so it is important to ensure these people get stuck nice and early.

perhaps the AT2011-Day-2 Course would make for a great night drive?
I would expect that you would want to finish the first track during twilight though - i wouldnt fancy walking up and down that track

We have done a night run down walkers once before. We started about 7pm and got home at 4am (on a school night), it used to be alot tougher. Phasmid in the dark is fun, but it has to be damp or it is easy. Coming down in at night in the middle of winter keeps you awake

doing walkers on the weekend reminded me why I don't like bogholes. But it is still fun!
We've now worked out a plan for a snorkel on the jeep....
