My aim is to put 235/75/15 tyres on without going to high with lift.
can someone please tell me if i can fit 235/75/15 tyres on a jimny with 60mm lift (i think i might need to do a little bit of guard trimming).
Also after i have put the larger tyres on what is involved in putting a sierra tranfers case in.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
bigger tyres on a jimny

With a 60mm lift you could probably fit 33s on I reckon!
Should be fine. Remember that suspension lift will only alter your ride height and not the range of movement your suspension normally travels in so even though on road driving mayu not rub on the guards you might find that off road the wheel still travels up into the sill the same amount so you might need to extend the bumpstops to miniise the uptravel so the bigger tyres don't rub.
hope that helps.

no chance of fitting 33's on a jimny with a 60mm lift, you'll just break shit
i fitted 235/85X16 (32' tire) on with only a 50mm lift, but there was about an inch of guard chopped out.
so a 235/75X15 (29" tire) will fit easily, you might need to "loose' the guard liners in the front and the bottom corners of the front bumper. the rear should clear easily without any mods.
