haven't been there for years, may possibly head up this sunday for a look around but I know there are some interesting tracks out there...not too much further than Labertouche maybe about half hour more if that.

if its wet it will be fun...Mud tyres will be handy.

Just so you know. I'm not even sure i can make this trip yet, so lets see who is interested and we'll go from there.

Hey guys. I've been having a look at some maps of the area and based on some conversations i've been having with some wheelers that have been in the area recently it doesn't look like I can string enough decent tracks together to make it a medium/hard trip. There are apparently two tracks in the area which are really hard and offer a good challenge. I think at this stage I will need to pre-run the area and work out a suitable plan for a style of trip that would be club suitable.

I really want to wheel hard stuff. i know some of you that have replied to this thread are happy with medium but would be hesitant on a hard trip. i think for now I will postphone this trip until later on probably winterish time.

I am planning on going 4wheeling on the 26th and 27th April in the Neerim and also mt Worth area which will give me a chance to have a look at the tracks out that way and see what possibilties these areas offer for the club.

If anyone wants to tag along for a pre-run trip and a camp out on the 26th or just a day drive on either day but technically not a club trip feel free to reply here. We will be looking for hard stuff to drive. Doesn't mean we'll find any...And anything that can't be driven can be winched, so if you don't have a winch myself and the other guy do. So that means all three of you guys that have replied are more than welcome to come. But it will be a private non club pre-run exploratory trip.

I would still like to go.
My winch is good for getting unstuck but not for long pulls or jeeps.

cool, the trip is on the auszookers site mate...just correspond through there for meeting times etc...i'll update here when the info becomes 100% as well.
