Hi Team,
Since i had already organised to get the MVO keys to Gembrook for the Labour Day weekend, I ended up doing some re-scheduling with Parks Victoria and have changed the Permit date to be Sunday 21st March instead.
So - this means another trip. Here are the details:
Where:
Meet in Gembrook - Carpark Opposite the Pub - 9am. Make sure you pick up your baked goods and petrol on your way there because Gembrook does not offer very much in way of facilities. I suggest Fuel and Coffee in Emerald if you are travelling from Melbourne.
What will we be driving:
Known tracks in Gembrook
Unknown MVO tracks in Gembrook
Known tracks in Labertouche
I anticipate there will be a bit of back-and-fourth type exploring going on in Gembrook, but what better way to see the forest and enjoy some fresh air.
We will make sure to drive Andersons and Little Bunyip so that there are some challenges, as well as heading over the Labertouche to drive the rock steps that other club members drove back in January of this year.
How Hard:
Medium (i will regret saying that when 100 people try to book in i'm sure)
Mud Terrains will be worth having. BYO snatch strap and rated shackles.
Who to Contact:
Me - 0405 321 916
As always, please register your interest sooner rather than later so that i know if the trip is worthwhile running.
Cheers,
Greg

Additional Note:
The MVO access procedure requires that we notify them in advance as to who will be driving the tracks.
Therefore I think it will be fair to expect final numbers on Friday 12th March.
I think for this reason, we will also have to say Paid Club Members only. That will cover everyone involved here (Suzuki Club, FWDVic and Parks Vic).

Ok - that puts the list at:
Drivers:
1. Greg
2. Dan
3. Matt
4. Mitch
Shotgun Requests:
None
The MVO access forms restrict us to 10 cars max, and i'm not sure how flexible that is, so we might have to draw the line there.

Looking good after this rain over the labour day weekend... with a bit of luck, we could even be free of dust (which would be awesome!).
