WANDIN - 21st February

This is the Wandin Thread.

At this stage the cars we have planned for the stand are:

Piggles
Greg's Junk
Jinxie, Mitch's Junk
Doof (Lloyd - sorry I haven't spoken to you about this - it this OK?)

We have access to AJSR's Hi-roof and maybe Michael's Trolley Tug as standbys.

Yes, They're all "big" cars. It seems that big cars draw people in. People seem to want to see cars they wish they owned on the stand rather than cars that are just like theirs. It's hard to get anyone to look underneath, say, Hamblin's Vitara, despite all the cool stuff under it.

Stuff we need:

A Barbeque
The Club shelter (who has that? Lloyd?)
I have a big esky, but I think we need one more
The Steel box (where's that?)
Lots of printed pictures.
The photo boards - there's one at the hall someone will need to take it with them
New T-Shirts Fingers crossed!
We need membership forms (we didn't have any last year and couldn't sign anyone up)
Club brochures.

I can bring sausages, Bread, onions, maybe some eggs for breakfast, sauce etc.
I'm going to try and organise some new stickers based on the new, top secret logo :D

I can't recommend coming up Saturday night enough- It's good fun.

Who's in?
Who can help with something?
Any questions?

Steve.

Actually the year I had one of my Vits on the stand I had a steady stream of people looking underneath it but I do know what you mean about having BIG cars on the stand I agree with doing that.

that's because they were looking at what parts they could fit on their sierras ;)

I'm on overnight support for work, but I can make it up for the Sunday.

i.e. what time do i need to be there to get to the stand?

I'm in for the Sunday but probably not the Saturday night.

Were we running a Wandin newbie trip?
