Looks good Chris.

Steve.
Well they have passed the real world tests.
I been dragging it around everywhere, lately, ie shopping, dirt roads and off road trials.
Very pleased, noticeable improvement in all areas.

Have started modifying the camper trailer to suit the new Vitara.
Nothing earth shattering, just had to adjust the hitch to keep it level.
It was leaning to far down at front.
Now its leaning back a bit while empty, but should be level when loaded.
If not will add a tad to shackle lengths.
If I do anything startling or interesting, I will take pix.
Then I will paint it red to match the new beast.
Need a new name, tadpoles aint red.

My welding is hopeless, but it is bolted with 4 decent bolts, too.
Hate prep work, but am looking forward to painting the red.
Decided to paint the gal bits, too, easier than fiddling about, hence the etch primer

Much tooooo red, so 2nd coat will add some brown in with the red,
hopefully closer match to Xoe color.

Does this now replace Steve's red tool box?

All done, best match I could do.
Time, dirt, mkud, sun, road grit should dull it down a bit :)

Now it sits level, sleeping is much nicer without angular disturbances.
Looks better, too, panders to my shallow side

I just realised I am not happy with the shackle angle, so tomorrow I reposition the upper mount, a tad.

Why Chris? Trailers never droop their suspension. You have shocks to control rebound so to me the shackle angle is fine.

Steve.
