Above photos of - On Saturday -Bruntons Bridge Rd at Thompson River ford & Bridge, Thompson River crossing at Coopers Ck, Old Copper smelter & track bog hole, crossing Thompson River & clay track to Coopers Ck, Copper Mine Hotel. On Sunday - Erica Hotel, Mt Erica walking track & Beech forest, Mt Toorongo & view over Latrobe valley & fire tower, Latrobe River Noojee.
Thanks to Luke for guiding on Saturday through the slippery mud & to Steve for his leadership on Sunday after last minute changes due to Track closures.
The only damage recorded for the w/end was Lukes Defenders tail light taken out by a tree after a slide on the mud!
The hopitality,top meals & cosy fire at the Erica Pub was great making for a nice social night for all. The improved weather on Sunday was welcomed & enabled some great views from Mt Toorongo. Hope the Gourmet group had equal enjoyment at Yarragon.
Any pics of the dinner or Marty's birthday cake?
