Thanks Wayne for the day and all help and offer of assistance. Also Dave and Richard too for quick fix stuff on the track. Yes it was the front left where all nuts had worked lose and almost machined the rim through the studs. Could hear the knocking noise just as started the trip home and Wayne and I had a look for obvious causes; except checking to tighten up the nuts. The funny thing was that it didn't effect the steering or how the front end felt. Learn some lessons on the day. RACV Total Care paid for itself and got me home. Again thanks to all for their help on the day. Paul.
