Can you guys suggest some nice easy scenic tracks/places within that area?
Thanks!
sorry to reply so late but been busy get my car ready for tomorrow.
I don't have any really good ideas but here's what i could think of:
Ada Tree - from memory it's about a 1 hr walk from the car park to get to the tree. One of the biggest trees in the world. Nice drive through the bush to get there. Roads are a bit rough though.
Labertouche Caves- never been there but wouldn't mind seeing what's there one day.
Toorongo Falls- Out past Noojee, never been but i think it's supposed to be nice there, can go out to Loch Valley. Could be some easy tracks around Noojee?
Acheron Way- Have driven some of it but never all the way, Go through Warburton, half way up Mt Donna Buang and down Narbethong.
Seven Acre Rock- Nothing spectacular but worth a look if in the area.

I'd be careful going on any tracks though if your alone after all this rain.

Well what a day...Gemmy and labertouche are in fine form. If it wasn't for popped beads, leaking autos, getting stuck in bogholes and broken leaves we would have covered a bit more ground. But, if all This didn't happen then it wouldnt be a real zook club trip! Such a great day good company, great challenges, and best of all the area is in really good shape for hard trips. Will post up some photos soon. Greg is probably on his way home on the tow truck at the moment. :D

yeah, thanks Dank and Greg for a great trip. I think i win for biggest hold ups and worst driving......by a mile too :D
Greg was a bit of a let down, bogged and then broken and on the tow truck home, but thanks for all the air
got some great steering wobbles now, couldn't go over 40-50km/h, think it might be the steering box? or maybe too much mud inside the tyres but probably both

I had a easy trip to Ada tree walk and had a nice walk to the giant Ada Tree. Good view and pleasant drive.
Thanks again to Mika for the advice:)

Yep - a great fun day out.

Big thanks to everyone for being so flexible with the actual location of the trip. Warburton would have been good, but it was just as nice to get back to Gembrook and see that some of the old favourites and getting back into some great form again.

In the end we only had to wait 15 minutes for the tow truck to arrive so we were home and hosed by 8:30ish i think.

Looking forward to seeing some photos, and some beadlocks on Mika's car
