[quote="christover1"]Previous owner of my Vit had 16's fitted.
Unsure if they would fit a GV or not.
Think they were Kings 16 x 7 -12 or -13]

I still have these. They have 245x75 Maxxis BIG HORNS.
I'm in Bundoora Ne Melbourne if you want to try them on.
I also have a naked single rim you can borrow to try at your leisure

All is okay, picked up 4 rims from the wreckers this morning.
Just got to save a few more pennies for the rubber now or more to the
point sweat talk the misses into letting me spend some more money... :)

All right tires are now fitted. Ended up getting a set of Kumho MT KL71 in 225/75/R16
The federals were no where to be found in Australia (well Victoria at least) and there was no ETA when I would see them if I ordered them.
So the tire shop offered me a set these.

They rub on full lock and I imagine they will rub and bump on articulation as well but only a trip out will work that out.

It now feels like I am stepping up into a 4WD now and not some little sports car... :)

I recommend you find somewhere near your house you can flex it up so you can fix it before taking them on a trip.
You could damage the tires or the body more that you would like on somehing that could have been easily fixed with a hammer beforehand! :D

I just took it to the local BMX track. It is only at the very very extremes that the rear tyres rub.
And the fronts have plenty of room assuming I am not at full lock.
Hammers and me don't mix very well, I have a tendency to over do things.

For now I'll leave things as they are, i'll just drive slowly and be aware of it.
I don't think I'll find too many bmx tracks out in the bush.

As for the actual tyres though they hook in rather well, there was a very muddy ditch that I just had to try... :)
