Hi Fellas.
Mike has pointed out to me, that there might be some confusion about our meeting place.
The "Three Lost Children Memorial Park" is on Hwy A300. The Midland Hwy heading west out of Daylesford, towards Creswick.
Its on the left, just passed the Daylesford Ambulance Station and there is a service station/ mechanic on the right.
Not to be confused with the other Memorial , which is the tree where the children were eventually found. That one is off the road heading East towards Trentham.

Hi Wayne. Glad youy got my message. I was at the Sault retaurant last evening just down the road from the usual meeting spot so I checked the forum to see where you were meeting. I thought it was worthwhile mentioning that because depending what you put into Google maps you would be sent to either spot.

Hi Fellas.
12 cars came along for the Daylesford trip.
We had 3 Sierras.
3 Jimnys. 2 of the Jimnys were 2020 models.
2 Vitaras.
2 Jeeps. 1 very old one and 1 very new one.
1 Amarok.
1Pajero.
A good mix of experience from old hands to newbie.
There were lots of smiles at the end of the day.
Hope everyone gets home safely.
Regards. Wayne.

Home safe. Long slow trip.
Busted a rear shocker between Daylesford and Ballan
Doesn't count as trip carnage, cos trip was over.
OME shox are supposed to be great, guess I need to look for better.
I had a good day, though, thanks all.

Hi Fellas.
Jeez...Paul just sent me a pic of his front hub. Both front wheels have come loose and worn almost completly thru all five studs.
He had to get an RACV tow from Kilmore.
Regards. Wayne.

Took broken OME shock in for a warrantee claim. At first glance they think the top mount nut came off, and broke the end off with it floating around. This is because I cannot find the other parts, as they not still connected to the car. I personally have no idea if true. Sounds like they aiming for no warrantee, but I will wait and see what the engineers say. . Ordered new shox from repco anyway, as seems spares could be wise outback. Cover my needs whichever way they decide. Will be double lock nutting the top mount if this is a possible issue, from now on. I think others should do same, and/or regularly check top nuts. (This may not be relevant on eye to eye shocks?)
