Re: Mt Cole and Pyrenees 8/9/10 November
Brilliant place to camp.
View is stunning.
Shack, sheds and bbq areas, with abundant wood is pretty nice.
Glamping sort of.
Scenery from shack and in the surrounding 4wd tracks is magnificent.
Tracks in the area range from very mild, to wild, and difficulty would vary greatly with weather conditions.
Small turn out from both clubs but was still a great weekend (plus 2 days for all of us)
Not to missed if we get another invite.

Seeing Eagles soaring and hovering fairly close to the shack was my highlight

I wasn't sure the trip was going ahead, next time I'll definitely be there.
Thanks

I nearly didn't make it.
Especially with the bitter cold weather.
But made an extra effort, because they changed the trip dates, to avoid our Safari trip clashing.
I was the only Zook member to go, but only 2 came from Bairnsdale Club anyway (guess its a lot further for them)
The wheeling was fun.
I am extremely surprised how better the Paj is with the new rear bar.
