Neo. Just to clarify are you a day tripper (up and down the mountain on Saturday) or do you mean you are a camper (staying on the mountain on Friday night)?

I just took a look at the permit application and we need to get this into 4WD Vic by mid next week.

So at this stage unless we get another snow camper joining we don't have enough numbers for a convoy to go up on the Friday (minimum 3). Lets see how this pans out over the rest of this week. If numbers are tight it also means no-one can pull out at the last minute either so please be certain of the commitment so as not to disappoint others at the last minute. Thanks.

I would of loved to join but had to hold back on confirmation.
Wife has to have operation on 28th of August which that was just put in place.

I have been advised that Luke has now pulled out of this trip. That means we don't have enough starters for an ascent on Friday so snow camping is now off the agenda. Unless we have new people signing up over the weekend. I want to lock this down on Monday so this is what we currently have.

I also need to nominate a second trip leader on the permit. I will put Leigh down as the primary trip leader and myself as secondary leader. Leigh can you PM me your address and telephone number for the permit form.

Finally Leigh is going to make inquiries regarding accommodation. I have booked into the Kevington pub for Friday and Saturday nights and my intention is to travel via Woods Point on either the Friday or the Sunday depending on the weather if anyone else is interested in joining me on that route.

In regards to organising accommodation, Jonno and Neo, are you guys chasing a bed for Friday/Saturday, both or neither?

Just Saturday I think.
Mitch will also need one too providing he is still coming.
