Major accident just before Merton.Maroondah hwy closed in both directions.
There is a 100 km detour in place atm.
There is apparently a way around it

Hi, sorry about the late notice. I'm cancelling for tomorrow. I went up today with the Mansfield Alpine club. It was a very good day, but there was an accident on the Maroondah somewhere near Merton I think and they closed the highway so I had to come home via Benalla and I'm not keen on an early start tomorrow. The snow near Mt Skene could be icy tomorrow morning as there was melting snow on the track. Have fun everyone.
