Hi Team,

We have a spare double bed in our accomodation in Jamieson.

If one of the day trippers doesn't take it for two nights, it will be available to peeps here for 1 night.

Last minute booking available (if you make it over the mountain) :D

Thanks,
Greg

Hi all, just organising a start point for the trip. Let's aim to meet in Jamieson at 12:30pm this Thursday. All good to meet on the main street
Everyone should carry 20l of fuel spare, and have a full tank from Jamieson, you can top up in Jamieson if needed.

If anyone wants to meet us on the way, please contact me before Wednesday to arrange.

Hi Greg, yep, I'd be happy to take it for the Saturday night if it's still available

Aaron and Steve’s trip notes

Thursday
Car would not start, flooded, then flat battery
Aaron drove all the way (learners)
Meet Jono at yea
3 others cars running late
Drove some more. 1 hard rocky section
Other cars meant to meet but broken
First hut burnt down
Stayed in same hut as previous
Other cars did not arrive
Camped outside.

Friday
Ferral weather.
Left Brynn’s car and camping gear at hut
Meet Luke (new guy) and, Faith at intersection near camp, left Faith’s car there
Burnt camp creek track was a banger, basically driving down a creek. Big drop off. Winch wall at the end.
Slept in hut, stinkin hot.

Saturday

Great weather.
10am start
Drove a bit, run into trip A convoy, they had already been over the top. Divi’d up convoys and drove lazirini, easy track but a lot of trees down. Some damage to a jeep. Went to top, played in a bit of snow. Aaron and Sean drove top of Jeep track, good fun.
Headed back to jamieson, pub meal.
Stayed in house

Sunday
Walked around town
Headed home.
