Yes i am still interested in Tazzy , as is my son Willy .
I have retired the red ute and will bring my Sierra which is now equipt with rear locker, t-case rebuild , 30 inch tyres .
However willy's Sierra is a bog standard coily with new springs and shocks, It's in good condition .
Can i get a few opinions on what his car might need for such a trip please ?

He can use the 29" Mud tyres from my ute .

Cheers , Richard P

Hey Richard, Re mods; prep towards a medium trip. My suggestions are a good set of tires, preferably mud and oversize. Winch. A locker – those with 2 used them both frequently last trip. Tasy is wet, however we won’t be doing any crazy deep water (famous last words!), diff breathers for sure, other cars won’t have a snorkel but we did have a plan to use temporary ones last time

Thanks Guys, The ‘I’m still keen’ list now looks like:

1. Steve D + Aaron and Liam: Sierra Softop
2. Wayne: Sierra ute
3. Chris: Pajero?
4. Richard: Sierra hard top
5. Richard P: Sierra ute
6. Willy: Sierra Coily

At the moment we would have to quarantine for 14 days so things will need to change.

As for the planning session on Wednesday, lets postpone this for the moment and have a bit of discussion next club meeting.
Items to discuss: when we should have the planning meeting, who is coming, and when we should/are allowed to actually go.
Option to think about is to do it April ish next year.

Hi All,

For those that were not at last week’s meeting but following along, the general consensus is that we are going to pause on going on this trip. Review it later in the year with a possibility of doing it over summer or 1st term holidays.

Wow. Stripped the old Paj and have built up the new old paj already. Looking good to go whenever the trip is. Booked for Googs Track next July. Should be allowed out by then. Just found out Mitsubishi are now offering replacement air bags. Not too annoyed as I think the new build is betterer. I hopes
