Re: Tech Day- 2nd Feb
Couple of quick reminders.
There is (now) no supermarket or bakery in Kinglake. The nearest bakery is Flying Tarts in Kinglake west, which is 12km away or something. The local servo is pretty well stocked, but’s it’s a servo. Don’t assume you can buy what you want for lunch etc locally. There is a cafe/restaurant/pizza joint, but I think they are a little patchy for offerings during the day.
We’re going to be mostly in a shed with tools and sharp/pointy/heavy things around. I’d recommend proper shoes rather than double pluggers.
You may what to bring a camping chair. I’ll have an esky available with ice for beverages.
Only Jon has showed some interest in staying, I don’t think I have anyone actually confirmed to stay?

Re: Tech Day- 2nd Feb
Hi Steve. I was reminded of a stag party I am invited to tomorrow at 1pm. Not a regular on FB. Was really looking forward to a tech day and questioning safety differences between soft/hard tops, especially lap sash belt anchor points in rear. Might go a soft top for new car but less ideal for young children. Also questions on roll cages and armour types/materials. Will leave it until club meet which I will not miss. It's been too long. Ta.

Ben and I will stay if the offer is still there?
Run into town for tea and bbq for lunch Steve if that's cool.
Have thrown in some snacks and things for during the day.
