Cheers Richard

Hi Fellas.
Thanks Richard for organising this tour. We got home about 6.00 pm.
I reckon we should have a day exploring some of those side tracks.
Regards, Wayne.

Wayne, This area does open up plenty of opportunities to explore further and the historic sites in more detail. As it was we spent 7 hrs on that loop with some stops. From the maps the altitude of Aberfeldy cemetery is 1107m. Could even camp over at O'Tooles. Cheers Richard

Thanks Richard for organising the trip.
I think this was good reconnaissance for a future overnight trip where we tackle some of those hillside climbs perhaps? Just food for thought. It was not appropriate to deviate from the advertised easy trip on the day but we could always upgrade it to a medium at some time in the future.
I noticed that my prefilter did not stop much of that fine dust and I can see that some got past my newly installed air filter so I was not too happy with the quality of the sealing on the relatively expensive Ryco filter. I did notice that the car had a little more power though with the Ryco. First time I had forked out $40 for an air filter and was thinking it was worthwhile until I saw all the dust on the wrong side of the filter. Anyway just thought I would share that.
