Thanks for a great trip Wayne (and Mrs Wayne), interesting countryside, history and geology, tracks were fun to drive without causing any grief. Definitely should go again, would be a good annual trip, suitable for beginners and stock cars, maybe camping at Welcome Reef(?).

Looks like a great day and a better weekend that I had. Broke my mates Landcruiser after about an hour on some tracks so we just went straight to the camp ground at about 2 pm via some 2WD roads. Ended up camping the night then coming home the next day. Nice camping trip but not much driving. I would definitely like to do Wayne's trip if it was run again.

By the way my Landcruiser mate is interested in doing some club trips with us. He is 67 years old and not into the hard stuff (well not now after Saturday's effort). I assume you don't need to have a Suzuki to join the club?

Sorry I didn't go with you Wayne might have been a more interesting outing.

Mike

It was a good day, Mike.
Driving was all pretty easy, bar a couple of steep climbs.
Didn't rain till after lunch, which was kind.

Here is a few of Waynés pics.
