Thanks guys. I am more keen to go with you guys now:)
Everything is ready except a set of tyres. I was going to do a suspension lift and change a set of tyres before this trip. however because of ANZAC day off, they will not be able to be delivered on time. So could I stil borrow Steve's tyres? Thanks.

Jon - So you have not mentioned the cold weather to the GF but does she know about drop toilets and the fact that we will only find them at horseyard flat?

Chen - hope you sort your tyres out with Steve. I don't want to be the only beginner!

pm'd chen re the tyres.

watching the weather, most of today's rain seems to have hit Melbourne, Scoresby's had 50mm in the last 24hs, Mt Moornapa's had only 5mm, just enough to keep the dust down, may even have snow to drive on up Mt Wellington.

Is the meeting point still in the park, on the right,
just over the bridge in Stratford?

Think thats what I heard you say?

Steve - that was what I observed too, not much rain in that area at all. Chris can we rely on what you hear? Only joking, that is what I think Steve said as well.

I was thinking of meeting at that park but the turnoff is a little tricky so the official meeting spot will be the small park in the centre of town on the left hand side of the Princes hwy and between Hobson st and Raymond st.
