It was actually amazingly dry out there too. After the rain we had I thought it may have been a little wet but it was actually a bit dusty

It is a fairly compact area with lots of tracks to explore, in fact more than a days worth. Also it is nice being within an hour of town and basically free of track closures so it is pretty good for winter trips when other areas are closed.
